The Land God Showed Them

In the town of Iten, 60 young athletes, among thousands of runners gathered to train at the world famous HATC, listen as two men teach from the Bible. One is Don Hood, a College Church elder and Harding track coach. The other is Jacob Rotich, a Kenyan runner whose talent brought him track stardom at Harding. Now a professor at HU, Jacob is back home to help. For the third time, with Don and a team of HU students, he leads a short term church-strengthening effort. The group teaches athletes and local students how to stay on the path Jesus set for them. Veteran coach Don admires Jacob for running the good race.

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it (Ps. 24:1).
