A Message from the Domestic Missions Chairman
If you are not a member of College Church, welcome! We hope this page helps you understand the work we try to do here—and encourages you to join us. If you are a College Church member, we'd like you to know we're looking for new members for the Domestic Missions Committee. Our current membership is made up of great Christian servants, but we are mostly septuagenarians. We welcome interest from College church adults of any age, but as we think of the future, we especially want to add younger members. If you are interested in joining our work--supporting the Great Commission in our own country--learn more about us by browsing this page and feel free to contact me, John Williams, at 501-380-5744.
Our Mission
Committee
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you (Matthew 28:18-20 ESV). No work of the church is greater than the “Great Commission,” as we call it, and among “all nations” mentioned by Jesus, our own country presents fields ripe for harvest.
Simply stated, we help mission work in the United States by distributing funds to specific missionaries, helping them deal with problems in the field, participating, when necessary, in the selection of new missionaries, and in all things offering our moral support and encouragement to the men, women, and families doing such vital work.

A committee consisting mostly of but not limited to married couples carries out our work. We meet once a month, or as needed, to discuss our budget and any issues involving those whom we support. We are also on the lookout for worthy new works. John Williams is the chair.
How to Be Involved
We want your prayers and financial support, of course, but also encourage you to contact us if you know of domestic missionaries in need of help. And, whether or not you have experience in the mission field, if you feel a call to be a part of our oversight as a member of the committee, we will be glad to talk to you about serving when new opportunities arise. Chair John Williams or other committee members can be reached through the church office: 501-268-7156.
