Caring & Sharing Ministry

The Mission

This ministry seeks to help the College Church fulfill Christ's teaching to do good to others in His name and to teach others about the salvation found in Him.

The Monday Evening Meal

The weekly Monday evening meal feeds on average about 150 visitors, many of whom have few other options. This undertaking has been successful because of the dedication of dozens of volunteers. Many church members help serve the meal, and others come to fellowship with guests from the community.

The Devotional

Each week before the meal guests and church members hear a devotional message. These talks present fundamental biblical teaching on life issues and are designed as a gateway into further individual study for members of the audience. The devotional concludes with a prayer that addresses requests from the audience.

Children's Care & Meal

While over 100 adults are listening to the devotional talk in the Family Room, their children are either outside in the church playground or in a separate room coloring, hearing Bible stories, or just being kids, all under the watchful eye many volunteers, who often include college students as well as church members. The children also have a separate meal in an area adjacent to the Family Room.

Join Us on Sunday Mornings!

The Sunday morning Bible class, called Faith's Foundations, is a vital part of Caring and Sharing because it meets new converts where they are in their spiritual journeys. The class is an open opportunity that encourages questions and provides opportunities for personal growth.
